Diana Obath

Executive creative communications professional, competent in strategy development, film production, storytelling, and application of behavioral research tools in the design of messages to influence decisions that solve business problems. Brings 12 years of Communication and PR experience working with governments, non-governmental and corporate organizations in various capacities.

She has developed communication strategies for organizations that have won local and international awards. Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is proficient in planning of communication activities, well capable of building solid cross functional relationships and working within teams to optimize corporate and brand performance.

Dr. Dunja Kartte

Dr. Dunja is a business management and transformational expert and consultant. She is an expert in Strategic Marketing, Brand and Business strategy across diverse industries. Dr. Dunja leverages 20 years of experience in managing consulting across Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Business industries and geographies.

Dr. Dunja’s specialization is in Transformational strategy execution, Organizational change effectiveness, Intercultural communication & management, Design thinking, Commercial growth strategy and Digital marketing.

She lecturers at the Vega School of Brand Innovation and the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics, her doctorate being in the interrelationship of Brand Equity, Corporate Equity and Shareholder Value.

Dr. Julia Kagunda

Julia is a Communication Specialist who is well rounded in communication, with wide experience in Development and Corporate Communication having worked with private sector and Non-Governmental organizations. Besides practical experience, she is a practical lecturer who has been in the academic world for several years.

Julia also has practical experience in the area of communication and some of the programs she has worked on span the African continent, including Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zambia, Nigeria and Kenya.

Julia is a results-oriented professional with proven ability to execute assignments and deliver desired results. She has a PHd in Development Communication for Moi University and a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from United States International University Africa (USIU)

Dr. Michael Goldman

Dr. Goldman is an award-winning marketing, branding and sales teacher, researcher and advisor to organizations in a number of countries.

From advising the MTN Group on leveraging their FIFA World Cup sponsorship, to upskilling relationship managers at Barclays and Safaricom in Kenya, to developing sales skills workshops with the Los Angeles Clippers, Michael has worked with students, managers and clients to enhance their abilities to acquire, grow and retain profitable customers.

Michael is based in California as a tenured Associate Professor in the University of San Francisco’s Sport Management Master’s Program. He also holds an Adjunct Faculty role with the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg, facilitates the BrandQuad series of workshops in Kenya, is a Visiting Instructor at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak in India, is the Editor-in-Chief of Emerald Publishing’s Emerging Markets Case Studies, and is President of the North American Case Research Association.

Lewis Ng’ang’a

Lewis is an adept, curious and deeply passionate Information Security professional. A logical mind that is always innovative and willing to tackle new challenges. Technology tickles my mind and breathes a fresh aurora of ideas with every change in technological advancements. Lewis is an Offensive Security Certified Professional and with a keen concentration in cybersecurity threat simulation, reverse engineering, social engineering, and red teaming activities.

At Foresight Tech Group, Lewis is responsible for the performance of the company, leading the business towards and through profitable growth and expansion of operations.

Mercy Njue

Mercy Njue is a Data Strategist and Technology professional. She holds a Bachelor of Business and Information Technology and Masters of Business Administration majoring in Strategic Management from Africa Nazarene University. She holds a Certificate in Applied Computer Science Course; Majoring in Big Data and Cloud computing from IBM Research Lab and IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Certification.

She is an award winning individual recognized by Top 40 under 40 {June 2014}. She also won the distinguished service award{ Employee of the year -Nov. 2014} and was also recognized by the ANU HR. Artificial intelligence, Business intelligence, Mercy plays in Machine learning, robotics and big data. She is a seasoned change delivery agent and game changer in IT service delivery, Strategy and innovation, project management, information management, IT research. Mercy is an avid reader and researcher with published academic articles and a blogger with Keen interest in ICT Security, Policies and user behavior.

Moses Kemibaro

Moses Kemibaro is the Founder & CEO of Dotsavvy, Kenya’s first digital business agency which conceptualizes, develops, delivers, and manages high-performance business results for its clients via digital channels. Dotsavvy has been operational for almost 20 years spearheading next practices across a broad spectrum of digital marketing offerings.

Previously, Moses was the Regional Manager for Opera Ads in East Africa, the Commercial Manager for East Africa at the Perform Group, now known as DAZN and Perform Content, as well as the Sales Director at InMobi for Africa where he led sales in Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria, and Ghana.

Moses is a multiple award-winning Technology, Digital Media, and Digital Marketing Blogger and Industry Analyst at MosesKemibaro.com where he rants and raves about all things digital in Kenya and Africa. Moses is also one of the region’s leading digital marketing trainers having facilitated sessions for Google Kenya, European Union Commission in Kenya, ITC Commonwealth, Aga Khan University, and others. He is also a regular speaker and panelist in industry events and also contributes commentaries to leading media.

Silas Matlala

Silas’ career spans across Market Research & Planning, Brand Management and Strategic Marketing, Lecturing, and Business Consulting. He started his career in Market Research at a consultancy company, then moved to Nielsen’s consumer research division. He then joined Colgate-Palmolive as Market Research Manager, and then later moved to Kellogg’s SA as head of Research & Planning.

Silas transferred into classical marketing, firstly at Kellogg’s and then again at Tiger Brands as Head of Group Research. He then switched from FMCG to expand his industry experience, joining Nedbank Insurance as Head of Marketing. He is currently an independent consultant in diverse B2B and B2C companies.

His marketing career journey has afforded Silas an opportunity to work and manage teams in a multitude of product and service categories. Silas is also passionate about developing human capital, and is a part time lecture and research supervisor at the University of Pretoria’s GIBS (SA), specialising in Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Customer Centricity programs and modules.

William Seyama

William Seyama is an Avid Marketer, Digital Strategist, Infopreneur and and Eternal Student

William is the founder and CEO of eNitiate Integrated Solutions, a digital marketing company, based in Rivonia, Johannesburg. He has vast experience in digital marketing strategy development and communication, online research and analysis, online reputation management and end-2-end online project management. He has handled one of the biggest annual arts and culture festivals, called Macufe, for 3 years among others.

In addition to running the company, he challenges Marketers to see digital marketing as more than just a tactical tool for achieving brand campaign objectives, but also as an integral part of achieving overall communication strategic goals. He does this by sharing thoughts on his blog site called InMarketingSpeak.

William has been facilitator for BrandQuad Africa for more than 8 years.
